How Do You play with Your Cat? participate in an international online study

Play is vitally crucial to a cat’s mental and physical health. In addition to supplying exercise, which is  especially crucial for indoor cats, play alleviates boredom, supplies anxiety relief, helps stop and right behavioral problems, and is a terrific way for humans and cats to deepen their bond.

Julie Hecht, a PhD candidate in animal behavior at The graduate Center, City university of new York, is investigating how cat guardians play with their cats, and she needs your help. Project: play with Your cat is an international, online, citizen science project that takes place at CatsDoScience.com.

In buy to participate in the study, you need to

be 18 or older,

play with your cat,

complete a consent form,

make and share a short video — between 30 seconds and 2 minutes long  — of you and your cat playing together, and

complete a short questionnaire.

Playing with your feline companion is a very crucial aspect of forming a bond between the both of you. They next exercise to keep and stay healthy, to stimulate their senses and to form a forever bond with you. and if you’re genuinely in tune with cats it’s actually fun for the both of you. Playtime with your cat is beneficial to both of you.
