The Iron Paw award is an award provided to an private from research, academia, market or government regardless of title who has supplied considerable worldwide leadership to the animal health and wellness market throughout their career. The award recipient will have contributed to the animal health and wellness market by advancing innovation, education/understanding, public awareness, market growth or occupation attractiveness/employment. individuals who have positively affected the KC animal health and wellness Corridor will be provided positive consideration.
Nominations for the Iron Paw award may come from anywhere in the worldwide animal health and wellness industry; however, the KC animal health and wellness Corridor Board or a subcommittee appointed by the KC animal health and wellness Corridor Board will choose on the recipient of the award each year.

Dr. James Nave was the 2013 Iron Paw award Honoree. Dr. Nave is a little animal professional in Las Vegas, Nev., as well as a native of Missouri.
